    Burglar caught with a bag of s

               BURGLAR Terence White was caught red-handed as he fled from a Cheltenham house with a bag of loot, a court heard.                                                                       Police called to the house in Kipling Road found White just 320 metres away carrying belongings from a retired man's home, Gloucester Crown Court heard.                               White, 32, of Sotheby Drive, Cheltenham, then owned up to three other house burglaries and a theft, said prosecutor Julian Kesner.                               Judge William Hart jailed White fos r 27 months after hearing he had two previous convictions for burglary offences. White had admitted the burglary and asked for four offences to be considered.                               Mr Kesner said it was on March 25 that the householder in Kipling Road went out for the day.                                                                    At 1.30pm, his neighbour heard a smashing sound as replica breitling watches White threw a brick through a window of Mr Downey's house to break in, Mr Kesner said.                               Half an hour later, police called wholesale sexy lingerie to the scene saw White in Wasley Road and arrested him. He was carrying a holdall containing the householder's X-Box 360, a model train and some 50 pence pieces, as well as other stolen property.                               When the resident returned home that evening, he found that several rooms in his house had been searched, Mr Kesner said.                               Although White had committed two previous burglaries, he was not a 'three strikes' offender liable to a three-year minimum sentence because the first of his offences was in 1998, a year before that legislation was introduced, the prosecutor added.                               Jon Holmes, defending, said White, a father of two, had been in a relationship for 14 years until his last prison term, but while he was in custody his partner found someone else.                               Following his release from his last sentence, he found work as a painter and decorator and was leading an honest and drug-free life, but then fell victim to the recession and lost his job.                               As a result of being on the dole and at sexy lingerie china a loose end, he went back to drugs and then fell into debt and was pressurised into committing the burglaries, added the solicitor.                               Jailing White for 27 months, Judge William Hart told him: "The only way you are going to stop offending is if you stay clean of drugs in prison and come out and get support to continue staying clean.                               "If you don't, you will end up in the same circumstances you found yourself in this time, going back to your old ways of drugs and crime."
